The 12th Annual BBQ Cook-Off is set for Saturday, April 24th, 2010 @ Mountain Breeze Camp on River Road in beautiful Canyon Lake, Texas
We’re firing up the grills and You’re Invited! This huge family-style BBQ Cook-off is sure to provide a great day of fun on the banks of the Guadalupe River unlike anything before! 54 Cook Teams will participate in a contest to make the best BBQ Brisket, Chicken, Ribs, and Cook’s Choice of Meat vying for a trophy at the end of the day (5:30 p.m.). Focusing on the Cook Team personalities and gimmicks, the Showmanship competition occurs between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. Awards will also be presented for the best Beans (judged by the public), the Most Unique Pit, and the Cleanest Area. The Cook Teams are bound by the rules to cook with wood-only fires, beginning with raw dry meats that eventually become great, tasty BBQ that will be on your plate! Food Service occurs from 11:00 a.m. to dark, or until the food runs out. Children 8 and under FREE ADMISSION! Gates open at 10:00 a.m. with entertainment starting immediately!

Sponsorship spots offer levels with special benefits for those who sign up for $1,000, $500, $250, $100 or In-Kind Sponsorships.
